BIA's annual Small Business Day at the State House is an opportunity for small business owners and managers to meet peers from other small businesses across the state and learn about solutions to many challenges they face. Small business owners and managers can look forward to learning:

Hear an update on pending small business legislation at the State House, how to attract and retain employees from seasoned human resources professionals, and current economic factors facing small business financing options. The event concludes with a complimentary State House tour and meet & greet with the governor and/or legislative leadership depending on scheduling.

Leaders will discuss how inflation, workforce issues, supply chain delays and rising interest rates have affected the market. Learn how banks and their financial partners are working together to help small business through this ever-changing economic environment.

There is nothing more complicated for the small businessperson than safely navigating the many complex state and federal laws and regulation regarding employment. This panel discussion features two of New Hampshire’s finest labor law attorneys who are both seasoned HR vets with many years’ experience working with small business clients. Together, they will cover employment issues critical for small businesses and provide answers to all your employment/HR related questions.

Pricing

The cost to attend is $25 per person and is open to the general public. 

Registration fee includes breakfast, refreshment break, and State House tour. Lunch is available at your own cost at the State House cafeteria immediately following.

Cancellations accepted up to one week prior to event. After that, substitutions are allowed. 

**Please note, online registration will close at 12pm on Thursday, March 23rd. Walk-ins will be accepted but there will be a $10 surcharge and payment is required at the door.**
