WHAT IS FIRST NH ROBOTICS? 

FIRST New Hampshire is building New Hampshire's future workforce! 

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, FIRST New Hampshire Robotics inspires and prepares students from kindergarten through high school using hands-on robotics programs that develop the technical and professional skills employers value most. 

Working with industry mentors and educators, students gain experience in engineering, programming, manufacturing, teamwork, leadership, communication, and problem-solving. More than a robotics program, FIRST NH creates a pipeline of career-ready talent, helping New Hampshire businesses invest in the innovators, technicians, engineers, and leaders who will power our state's future.

HOWS DOES FIRST NEW HAMPSHIRE ROBOTICS WORK?

Through three progressive programs: FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge, and FIRST Robotics Competition. Teams can be formed through schools, nonprofits, homeschool groups, scout troops, or community organizations, making FIRST accessible to students in every corner of New Hampshire. 

Guided by coaches and industry mentors, students design, build, and program robots to solve real-world engineering challenges while developing the skills employers value most—problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, communication, creativity, and technical expertise. Each season culminates in exciting competitions that celebrate innovation, collaboration, and achievement, helping to build the next generation of engineers, technicians, programmers, and leaders who will strengthen New Hampshire's future workforce.
